Kristin Harrington

I started with the CORE Lab in 2020 as a Graduate Research Assistant while I was completing my PhD in Epidemiology. As I transitioned back to medical school in 2022 to complete my MD/PhD training, I have taken on a Post-Doctoral position within the CORE Lab. Although my dissertation was focused on infectious disease modeling of respiratory infections (mainly tuberculosis and COVID-19), I have experience conducting work in HIV and opportunistic infections, surveillance of antimicrobial resistance, and field epidemiology. I bring extensive experience conducting epidemiologic research and in manuscript preparation and writing. Specifically within the CORE Lab, I utilize epidemiologic methods including spatial analysis and modeling techniques.
